Raw and organic food is always better as it is more live, whole and energetic. «Raw» assumes minimal (less is better!) processing and chemical supplements added for longer shelf life and transportation. Ideally it should NOT contain any chemicals at all. See the ingredients list of the product and take belief in it (as you do not have many choice). The problem of such chemicals  is that  those chemicals that prevent product from spoiling, also prevent them from proper digestion by human digestive track.
